According to US Customs and Border Patrol, officers seized hundreds of pounds of methamphetamine in disguise as solar panels at Los Angeles International Airport.
Photos posted on the agency’s social media reveal that social media on Monday cut the panel, with roughly £300 of illegal drugs hidden beneath it.

“We do this every day. These ‘criminal masterminds’ never had a chance,” CBP wrote in the post.
According to the agency, officers were able to intercept exports before exports.
According to agency data, CBP officials seized about 116,000 pounds of methamphetamine in 2025. Over all types of illegal drugs, the agency has already seized just under £420,000 this year.
In early July, US Border Patrol agents seized nearly 130 pounds of fentanyl hidden inside a Pine Valley flatbed trailer.
