Encino residents have the advantage in the horrifying double murders and multiple home robberies, including at least one family member was in the home during the break-in.
Surveillance footage from July 21st just after 10pm. He jumped over the gate in the 4500 block of Heyben Harstore Avenue and into his driveway to capture three men in black hoodies.
The burglar entered the residence through the side door into the bedroom that would be used as an office before the property security alarm rang out, and the robber crew ran off empty-handed.
Homeowner Edwin Aloeuve and his wife, TV personality Teddy Mellencamp, are best known for their three season stints in “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” and along with their children, were upstairs when the intrusion unfolded.
“I’m surprised because they thought people were at home and I think they did it anyway,” Aroyabe told KTLA. “In this part of town, I’m worried that it’s going to continue to happen around here. For some reason, it just doesn’t stop.”
Arroyave, who appeared on Trhobh, added that many homes in the area are being targeted by burglars as well as celebrities.
The Monday night break-in at the family home was not even the only one reported in Encino that night.

A second robbery was also reported in the 4900 block of Enfield Avenue, about two and a half miles away. It is unknown if anything was taken in that case.
Not a few weeks ago, a little while ago, Robin Kay, 70, an executive on the TV show “American Idol,” and her husband, Thomas DeLuka, 70, were killed by a 22-year-old man inside a home in the 4700 block of White Oak Avenue.
“Don’t shoot me”: Terrifying details appear in Encino’s double murder
That day, despite two calls to 911 in connection with possible home break-in, police did not discover the murdered couple until four days later when they returned to their property for a welfare check.
Brutal killers have a lot of the community on the edge.
At a city hall meeting held at Encino Community Center on Monday night, the same night as the two latest robbers, LA County District Attorney Nathan Hochman revealed to a crowd of more than 500 residents who called 911 from their home at one point during the horrifying murder of the 22-year-old suspect.
During the meeting, representatives from the Los Angeles Police Department tried to reassure the community that it may not be, but that home robberies were declining.
Many of the audience didn’t buy it, but when one person says the decline in robbery, it doesn’t matter whether people are still victimized by the robbery crew.
“Why should we die in order to hold a meeting like this?” said one woman at the meeting.
