“Don’t shoot me”: Terrifying details appear in Encino’s double murder

The 22-year-old man reportedly accused of murdering an “American Idol” executive and her musician husband inside Encino’s home, reportedly called 911 herself while at the crime scene using the couple’s gun.

Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman shared details of the new investigation Monday night with a crowd of more than 500 residents at the Encino Community Center.

Victims Robin Kay, 70, and Thomas DeLuca, 70, were found dead on July 14th with multiple gunshot wounds, including the head, after officers responded to a severely fortified $5 million residence on White Oak Avenue, in the 4700 block of a welfare check at about 2:30pm on LapD News.

Investigators believe Raymond Boudarian is currently charged with two murders and one home robbery, expanding the wall outside the house and entering July 10th through an unlocked door four days ago.

“He was there for about 30 minutes,” Lt. Col. Lapd Guy Golan said at a press conference. “When the homeowners returned to their residence, a violent struggle continued between them and the suspect. The suspect was already inside the house, causing the victim to tragically lose his life.”

Records investigated by the Los Angeles Times show that police responded to two robbery calls at their White Oak Avenue residence on Kay and DeLuca.

The first call made by a neighbor who said he had found a man trying to break into the couple’s home came just after 4pm

More than 30 minutes later, another 911 call was made from inside the house, with callers saying they were residents and someone had broken into the house.

The 911 operator reported that he heard the caller say, “Don’t shoot me.”

It is unknown whether the caller is a Boudarian himself, and whether he acted as if he lived in the house or was one of the two victims. However, what he said to the dispatcher is not clear.

A LAPD Ground Unit was sent to his home and a police helicopter flew through the facility. Officers conducted checks from the surrounding area, looked nothing without looking at the normal, left because they couldn’t access security walls outside the facility, and helicopter police saw no visible signs of an intrusion.

Recently, LAPD has faced criticism for answering a 911 call in the San Fernando Valley, where in one incident they left without entering the place and later returned to find the person who was killed.

Menache: “Menny Hydra, 53, reported that he was murdered in a third-floor apartment in a luxury valley village apartment three days after police responded to his apartment on a 911 call, and that a neighbor heard a scream and someone was asking for help.

It was revealed that 47-year-old Aleksandre Modebadze was beaten to death at a Woodland Hills home the same day. It was later discovered that a woman inside the house called 911 around 12:30am, before the call ended abruptly. Officers responded around 1am, but left because the 911 operator was unable to reconnect with the caller.

Hours later, police found Modevaze suffering from traumatic head trauma in the home where he was eventually declared dead at the scene.

At Encino Community Center’s City Hall on Monday night, many residents expressed their frustration with police and district attorneys over murder and ongoing crimes in the area.

“Why should we die in order to hold a meeting like this?” said one woman at the meeting.
