The man accused of plunging his car into a crowd outside the East Hollywood Nightclub is scheduled to be in court for the first time Wednesday.
Fernando Ramirez currently faces more than 70 felony charges.
Ramirez has been in the hospital since the crash and has recovered after he was shot.
Police say he drove the car amongst a bunch of people when a man came from across the street and shot him early Saturday morning.
Investigators are still searching for shooters.
Ramirez was captured in the moment in the video after the crowd crashed with a bloody face after pulling him out of the car and beat him.
He faces attempted murder and assault on fatal weapons charges against each of the 37 victims.
Police say he was kicked out of a “Vermont Hollywood” nightclub and within ten minutes he alleges that he drove the car in a crowd of innocent people.
Nicolas Suarez and Maria Medrano say they are lucky to be alive, but are covered in bruises and broken bones.
The daughter of a street vendor who was attacked while selling food outside the club that night, is trying to raise money to help them.
“I’m so happy they’re here now. There’s nothing compared to their lives,” Sarah Suarez said.
Ramirez, who already has a long criminal history, including a pending case of domestic violence in Orange County, is scheduled for his arrest at 8:30am Wednesday.
