President Donald Trump supported Sen. Ashley Moody for the election.
Earlier this year, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis set up Moody’s, who was left the Senate by Marco Rubio, who left the Senate to serve as President Donald Trump’s Secretary of State.
In a post on True Society on Thursday, the president declared that Moody has his “complete and complete support” and said, “She won’t let you down!”

Moody thanked Trump for his support.
“Thank you, President @RealdonaldTrump! I am extremely honored to support you and look forward to our continued work to make this a safer and more powerful country,” Moody said in a post on X.
Moody, like the majority of Senators and House GOP colleagues, voted to pass one big, beautiful bill law earlier this month to support Trump.
Desantis’s chosen Rubio exchange Moody wants to tackle inflation, spending and borders.
Rubio, who won reelection to the Senate in 2022, took office before his term ended in early 2029.
Next year, special elections will be held to allow Floridians to decide who will represent them for the rest of the semester.

Prior to joining the US Senate, Moody served as Sunshine State Attorney General.
