At least one LAPD officer was hospitalized Friday night after crashing during a chase in the Willowbrook area of LA.
A Los Angeles police officer was chasing after a suspect who wanted to drive recklessly before 9:30pm.
Sky5 footage showed the police car had caused significant damage to the driver’s and passenger doors. The impact appeared to push the vehicle across the intersection into the opposite lane.
At least one officer was taken to the hospital in an unknown condition. Another person, a woman, was also taken to the hospital, but it is unclear whether the woman was an officer or a civilian.

The suspect, who police were chasing, managed to escape from the scene, authorities said. They have not provided descriptions of the suspect or their vehicle at this time.
The crash is under investigation. The injured officer’s identity was not released.
