President Donald Trump on Tuesday criticized taxpayer money to house immigrants in “luxurious hotels,” but others continue to struggle to buy essentials.
Trump had returned to the US after a four-day trip to Scotland when asked about his massive migration to the UK.
Reporters pointed out that many in the UK have problems with hotel housing immigration at the expense of taxpayers, and asylum claims have been processed, asking if the UK needs its own “Wannial Catraz.”
This was a reference to Florida’s illegal immigration detention center for a 30-square-mile facility in the Everglades swamp.

“They put people in gorgeous hotels and other people who live their a—offs with their hands, from mouth to mouth. They don’t live the same way,” Trump told one of the Air Force. “I saw some of the hotels they use.”
Trump noted that some illegal immigrants in the United States are also housed in hotels.
“They put them in like the best hotels anywhere in the world,” he said. “Thousands of dollars a night, and others live on the streets, including our veterans. They can’t get a room.

“There are photos of veterans staying by the door where our veterans are walking to live, and veterans are sitting on the sidewalk in front of a flashy hotel, and illegals are staying at that hotel for a week,” he added. “That’s not good.”
In 2023, Fox News reported that homeless veterans claimed they had been evacuated at a hotel in upstate New York.

However, in Massachusetts, the military family, the location of the 124th Army and Naby soccer game at Gillette Stadium, the military family that booked a room in Foxboro, Massachusetts, received a cancellation notice from the hotel the state used to residential immigrate.
In June, the Roosevelt Hotel in Manhattan served as one of the city’s main immigration shelters, closing its doors.
The remodeled site, which has approximately 1,000 rooms, has handled more than 173,000 immigrants since its launch in May 2023.
The hotel is linked to gang activities, and the Ministry of Justice investigated in May by Roosevelt, owned by the Pakistani government, and Stewart Hotel, which has been transformed into an immigrant shelter.
