Despite our attacks from both us and Israel, Iran still has the capacity to enrich uranium and can resume its nuclear program if it wishes, the Tehran Foreign Minister argued.

The US attacked three important Iranian nuclear sites, but Israel destroyed most of its air defense, robbed the military commander, killing at least 13 nuclear scientists and more than 1,000 people, according to figures issued by Tehran. Israel claims it killed 30 senior security guards and 11 top nuclear scientists.

“You can rebuild the building. You can replace the machinery because the technology is there. There are a lot of scientists and engineers who worked at our facility,” Foreign Minister Abbas Araguchi said in a recent interview with the Financial Times.

“But when and how you resume enrichment is dependent on the circumstances.”

Iran will not give up on nuclear enrichment, the top official confirms in an exclusive Fox News interview

“We can rebuild the buildings. Because the technology is there, we can replace the machines. There are a lot of scientists and engineers who worked at our facility,” Foreign Minister Abbas Aragchi said. (Getty Images)

Washington claims it caused major damage to Iran’s two major uranium enrichment sites, Fordow and Natanz, launching missiles that essentially rendered Isfahan’s facility inoperable, setting Iran’s nuclear program “year.”

Now the world is looking to see if it can reach a deal that ensures that Iran and the West will not strive for nuclear weapons in exchange for sanctions relief.

Araguchi said the US must provide funding to Iran to compensate for last month’s strike to advance negotiations.

“They need to explain why they attacked us. [during future talks]”Araguchi said, “They have to compensate [Iran for] The damage they did. ”

Aragut argued that the so-called 12-day war “proves that there is no military solution to Iran’s nuclear program.”

Araguchi also urged calls from within the regime to weaponize Iran’s nuclear program, but argued that Iran would continue to comply with Fatwa, two years ago, banning the production of nuclear weapons.

Trump said the US has completed a “very successful” strike against Iranian nuclear sites in Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan, and that Iran’s nuclear enrichment facilities have been “exterminated.” (Fox News)

“There are very high negative feelings,” Araguchi said. “People are telling me, ‘Don’t waste your time anymore, don’t be fooled by them… If they come to negotiate, it’s just a cover-up of their other intentions.”

The Minister has repeated Iran’s claims and said he will not give up his ability to enrich uranium for civil purposes. “There’s zero enrichment and we have nothing.”

Iran’s nuclear capabilities have been crushed, but the regime’s desire for bombs may continue

The White House was not immediately able to reach due to comments on Araguchi’s remarks.

Israeli officials have admitted that a portion of Iran’s highly enriched uranium stockpile survived the attack.

European powers are threatening to raise “snapback” UN sanctions on Iran if there is no breakthrough in nuclear talks.

Any of the current members of the 2015 nuclear deal, either France, the UK, Germany, China, or Russia’s joint comprehensive action plan, can invoke a snapback mechanism if it determines that Iran has not maintained the end of the contract. The United States cannot pose sanctions. Because it was drawn from the deal and enacted unilateral “maximum pressure” sanctions under Trump’s first administration.

The US this week raised more pressure on Tehran with new sanctions on the country’s oil network and military drone companies.

European diplomats have met with Iran to relay ways to avoid snapback sanctions, including resuming cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and monitoring compliance with nuclear restrictions.

Araguchi said it would halt negotiations with Europe if Iran poses sanctions. “If they’re going to snap back, that means this is the end of the road for them.”
