Thirteen people have been arrested for busts of prostitution in Riverside County.
The operation is aimed at suspects who sought online prostitution and illegal services.
The bust took place on July 30th, with officers from Murieta Police Station and Riverside County Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force participating.
Thirteen male suspects were taken into custody on suspicion of soliciting prostitution.

“The operation focused on rescuing victims of sexual slavery and human trafficking, identifying prisoners and arresting them, and disrupting the demand for these vulnerable victims,” said Murieta Police. “Prostitution is not a “victim-free” crime. Human trafficking is the second largest criminal enterprise in the world. 95% of victims of sex trafficking are women or children. Those who have been victimized by commercial sexual exploitation often have a long history of emotional, physical, and/or sexual abuse or sexual abuse. ”
No further details have been made public as the case is under investigation.
