Authorities say two teenagers were hospitalized, including someone with a broken bottle above their heads when the fight broke out at a gathering in a Santa Clarita park.
The group of teenagers began gathering late Saturday night along Garnet Canyon Drive at Pacific Crest Park, adjacent to Mountain View Elementary School, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
“I got a 911 call just before 11pm,” a department spokesman confirmed to KTLA. Pacific Crest Park closes every night at 10:30pm.

The victim was taken to hospital with injuries described by lawmakers as “non-life threatening.” Another boy was transported with an unspecified injury.

Further footage from the scene shows deputies restraining the teenager and questioning multiple others about what happened in front of the park swing set. Broken bottles and several other alcoholic beverages were seen scattered across the grass and curbs.
There are videos circulating on social media showing the alleged incident. (Warning: The video contains profanity and may be difficult for some people to watch.)
The caption claims that the local homeowner is “displeased with the lawlessness of several months” at the park.
No further information regarding the argument, victim or detainee was provided immediately by law enforcement.
This is the second incident involving a large group of teens joining the fight in many days. Several boys were injured in an argument outside a movie theater in Simi Valley shortly after midnight Friday, police said. Adults were also injured.
