Authorities reportedly confirmed with the KTLA that they were stabbed inside Carson’s mall after the two were reportedly escalated orally.
Deputies from the LA County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of stabbing at South Bay Pavilion Mall at 20700 Avalon Boulevard around 2pm.
Details are limited and it is unclear exactly why it caused the oral argument at the mall’s food court, but investigators said it soon turned into a physical argument in which two people left stabbing wounds.
The incident at South Bay Pavilion Mall reportedly began as an oral argument on July 3, 2025.
Medical personnel with the Los Angeles County Fire Department transported both victims to a nearby hospital. Neither was available immediately.

A third party has been arrested in connection with the incident.
In the aftermath footage, several people are seen attending the person who appears to be the victim as they are sitting at a table in the food court.
