At least two people were killed in Shadow Hills late Monday afternoon, officials confirmed.
The Los Angeles Fire Department sent a warning at 3:45pm that the crew was at the scene of a fatal crash on Wentworth Street, west of Wheatland Avenue. Upon arrival, the LAFD found two people dead and still trapped in wreckage.
Sky5 was immediately overhead. Aerial footage showed the aftermath of graphics of two broken cars. Also, traffic was rerouted due to road closures.

Crews were seen assessing the damage and blocking traffic while working to extract the bodies from the seats of each driver in the two cars. Authorities have not confirmed whether both of the two casualties were drivers, but LAFD said no other injuries have been reported as a result of the crash.
Authorities did not immediately identify the victim.
Details are limited and no details have been made as the cause of the crash at 4:30pm is under investigation.
