Democrat Jasmine Crockett fought back against reports that she had created a “toxic” work environment in her office for her “diva” behavior by implying “arrival” and that race was a factor in her criticism.
“Listen, I know I’ve arrived, honey,” Crockett accused of terrorizing people who work with her, including attracting them, after laughing at CBS News questions about her New York posting report on Thursday.
“That’s how I see this,” the Texas Democrat continued. “As Beyoncé says, if they’re not talking about you, obviously you shouldn’t do anything.”
The New York Post report also said it was Crockett’s top goal since being elected to Congress in 2023.

“Staff really is just an island because she doesn’t care about the local issues that are happening in the district,” the source told the outlet. “She’s more focused on ‘watching me’ and ‘come to this late-night talk show.’ ”
Crockett went on to interview CBS News, explaining that her skin color played a role in the story.

“This is more defamatory, more nonsense, more lie,” Crockett said. “You and I were joking before we got on camera about all the scrutiny that comes with being a young person and being a black woman, not just a woman. Yeah, there’s a lot of scrutiny that comes with my path, and it’s all different angles that make my path come.”
Crockett then continued her belief that “when people start talking about you, it’s when you know that you’re clearly under their skin.”
“So I’m not going to give up. There’s a song I like to quote for a while. “Your hatred is my motivation. It’s what motivates me to continue doing what I’m doing. It’s loud and proud on behalf of the American people.”

A New York Post report on Crockett, perhaps President Donald Trump’s most well-known critic in Congress, claims that lawmakers once dared staff in tears, saying staff would drive short distances on rental escalades or similar vehicles rather than the usual practice of using staff vehicles.
Crockett regularly goes viral due to her criticism of Trump, calling him “part of the S***” and “an enemy of the United States.” Lawmakers are also known to blow up Trump at committee hearings in speeches that are often featured on social media.
Earlier this year, the Atlantic reported that Crockett’s lock screen on her phone was a photo of her, and when she learned that the outlet had reached out to her colleagues to comment on the profile work she was working on, she said she was trying to “shut down” the story.
“She lies around her apartment, she won’t come to the office and is truly indifferent to the staff and will scream at them,” the former aide told the New York Post about Crockett in Thursday’s story.
“She’s never in the office and is very free. She does bulls.
