Paramount’s new CEO David Ellison praised creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker, who are “equal opportunity criminals,” as the sitcoms have been ocking President Trump recently.
“Matt and Trey are incredibly talented,” Ellison said in an interview with CNN released Friday. “They were equal opportunity criminals and have always been that way.”
Paramount and Skydance officially formalized the $8 billion merger on Thursday after months of discussion, bringing other entities such as CBS and MTV under the ownership of “South Park” and Ellison.
The former Paramount owners agreed to pay $16 million to the president’s future presidential library after President Trump sued in a “60-minute” interview with former Vice President Harris.
“South Park” doesn’t avoid laughing at the current administration and its policies. It levelles the jab against President Trump, Vice President Vance and Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Christy Noem.

In the latest episode entitled “Got a Nut,” the show teased Noem’s looks and chuckles at the immigrant raid carried out by Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE).
In response, Noem said she claimed that the depiction of her in the show was “lazy” and was a pattern of teasing women for “what they look like.”
The White House has previously returned to “South Park,” but it claims the show has been irrelevant for over 20 years.
Ellison said Thursday that he was not involved in the CBS settlement.
“I don’t want to politicize our company in form, form, form,” Ellison told CNN when asked if he had separately agreed to broadcast causes consistent with the current administration.
