The former Attorney General Bilber’s closing door deposit, which the House Oversight Committee wrapped more than four hours later on Monday, had a very different interpretation of how it went.

Rep. Jasmine Crockett and Suhas Subramanyam (D-Va) of D-Texas, who represented Democrats on the committee during the staff-led sit-in, said there were “more questions now” left before Barr’s deposition began.

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Kommer, R-Ky. The only Republican said Barr “splied a lot of light” in the Epstein case and “answered all the questions” presented to him.

Both sides spoke with reporters along the way about the bar’s testimony, which began at 10am on Monday. Fox News Digital witnessed him leaving about 30 minutes before 3pm

“I think the democratic side is heavily for the most part and I don’t think I’m learning much from questions from House Republicans,” Subramanyam said.

“It doesn’t seem like it’s something they really care about their victims and is trying to get to the bottom of what’s going on.”

Crockett said, “It seems they’re going through a move, and I want you to believe they’re digging in. But I don’t think you’ve learned anything through the Republican doubt that your outlet can’t be found in the articles that are most likely printed.”

“Our goal in this investigation is to be transparent,” Comer later told reporters.

He praised Democrats for making the issue “serious,” adding, “it’s a bipartisan investigation and hopefully Americans can get the answer they want and deserve.”

But when asked about Democrats’ attacks on the questionable line of Republicans, Comer accused them of politics in the situation.

“It’s a shame the Democrats are trying to do. It seems to me that they’re politicizing this. Looking at this foundation, it’s a horrible crime against young girls, and of course, the Democrat’s goal is to dig into some sort of filth on President Trump,” Comer said.

He accused Democrats of operating on double standards, saying Republican staff are “a lot of tough questions.”

“I don’t remember Democrats summoning the former Democrat Attorney General anything,” he said.

Kommer accused Democrats of trying to create a “false story” connecting Trump and Epstein after bringing out the possibility of “concealment” by Trump and his allies.

“This is a serious investigation. This is a sincere investigation. I hope this will be a bipartisan investigation. I encourage my Democrat colleagues not to politicize this,” Comer said.

Bill Barr testifies that he didn’t see any information that “involves” Trump in the case of Epstein, Comer says

“I think General Barr probably answered a lot of questions that burst their bubble. He never communicated with President Trump on a potential Epstein list or anything like that.

The bar arrived at Capitol Hill almost an hour before the scheduled deposition, but only stopped “early birds getting worms” in response to the gust of the reporter’s question.

He was spoken equally gently on his way out, despite questioning what Fox News Digital and others had said to House investigators.

Barr said “absolutely” only when asked if he had a good conversation on Monday.

Sources used to his deposition told Fox News Digital that Barr “has revealed that President Trump never provided opinions or directions related to Jeffrey Epstein or the criminal case against his death, and that he has never seen evidence suggesting that President Trump committed a crime.”

“He further said he believes that the Biden Department of Justice would release any offence against President Trump if such evidence existed,” Burr described as a “co-op.”

Barr is the first of several people summoned to appear before the House Oversight Committee after Republicans and Democrats voted to direct them to open the investigation last month.

Several other former attorney generals, former FBI directors, and former couples Bill and Hillary Clinton were also summoned.

Fox News Digital reached out to Barr’s attorney for comment but did not immediately respond.
