A Southern California woman known to her clients as “Queen of Ketamine,” agreed to plead guilty to federal charges in connection with the death of “friend” actor Matthew Perry due to an overdose.
Jasveen Sangha, 42, agreed to maintain a drug-involved facility, maintain a distribution of three ketamines, maintain one distribution of ketamines, and plead guilty to one count that results in death or serious injury. The North Hollywood woman has been in federal custody since 2024 and is expected to formally enter a guilty plea in the coming weeks, the U.S. Lawyer’s Office said Monday.
A verdict hearing is expected in the coming months.
Sangha went to trial next month after becoming the sole accused of Perry’s death in October 2023, where a judicial agreement with prosecutors had not reached.
“She is responsible for her actions,” Attorney Mark Geragos said of the legal agreement.
Perry, who died at the age of 54 at home on October 28, 2023, had taken ketamine from a regular doctor to treat depression. Prosecutors said he wanted more from Sanga and others when the doctor refused to provide Perry with as many medications as he wanted.
Perry’s assistant and friends said in their petition agreement they served as intermediaries to purchase large quantities of ketamine from the Sanga for Perry. The buyer includes 25 vials six,000 days before his death, prosecutors said.

Prosecutors said Perry was injected with at least three shots of ketamine, a dissociative anesthetic that Sanga offers on the day of his death.
“After learning from news reports of Perry’s death, Sanga called Fleming through a signal and then discussed how to distance himself from it,” the U.S. Lawyer’s Office said in a statement issued the legal agreement. “That day, Sangha updated the settings in the signal app to automatically delete messages in Fleming. She also instructed Fleming to “delete all messages.” ”
In the legal agreement, Sangha also allowed the sale of ketamine in August 2019 to a man who died several hours after a drug overdose, prosecutors said. According to the legal agreement, her North Hollywood residence has been used to store, package and distribute drugs containing ketamine and methamphetamine, since at least June 2019.
Four other people have been charged in connection with Perry’s death, including Salvador Placencia of Santa Monica. He pleaded guilty on July 23rd to four counts of ketamine distribution. His sentence is set for December 3rd.
