From the 1980s to the early 2000s, the bodies of murdered women were discovered throughout the California city. This series of crimes will be investigated in the upcoming Oxygen special, “Serial Killer Capital: Los Angeles.”
The special will detail investigators’ efforts to put an end to these senseless murders, which were attributed to a single individual dubbed by the media as the “Southside Slayer.” But as the number of victims rises and more bodies are discovered in alleyways and parking lots, it becomes clear that multiple serial killers are terrorizing the streets of Los Angeles, especially the South Central neighborhood.
