The World Series-winning Dodgers will return to Los Angeles to unveil new hardware, the team announced on X.
Mayor Karen Bass will kick off the parade at 11 a.m. Friday at Gloria Molina Grand Park on Spring Street near City Hall.
Dodgers’ double-decker buses will operate a 45-minute route. The procession will proceed from 1st Avenue to Grand Avenue to 5th Avenue, ending at the intersection of 5th Avenue and Flower Street.
Fans are encouraged to use public transportation to avoid road closures and traffic jams.
Dodger Stadium will host a special ticketed event starting at 12:15 p.m. Parking gates will open at 8:30 a.m. and entry will begin at 9 a.m. During this event, fans will wait for the team to arrive. Entertainment will be held in the stadium during the event.
The team noted that it would be “impractical” for fans to go to both events.
It will be the Dodgers’ first World Series parade since 1988, after the 2020 championship parade was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The last Los Angeles team to appear in the parade since the Dodgers was the Rams, who won Super Bowl LVI in 2022.
