Ahead of Election Day, Los Angeles County officials on Saturday opened hundreds of additional voting centers where voters can cast early votes in person.
According to a post on the X account, the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk has opened 526 additional centers. This is in addition to the 122 centers already open across the county where people can vote in person and drop off their ballots for the Nov. 5 election.
Officials said the center was open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and most wait times were less than 15 minutes.
The county’s mobile voting centers will also be operating throughout the area until Election Day.
Voters can also submit their completed ballots by mail, as long as they are postmarked on or before Nov. 5 and received by Nov. 12. You can also return your mail-in ballot at a voter center or mail-in voting location. box.
Unregistered voters can complete conditional voter registration at the center and vote in the election.
The ballot includes a long list of statewide and local candidates and how to vote, as well as the U.S. presidential race between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump.
On Saturday, mobile centers will be located at LA Honganji Temple and LA Cultural Arts Plaza in downtown Los Angeles. Henry Acuña Park in Montebello. Wat Thai in Los Angeles in North Hollywood. and Paving the Way Foundation in Lancaster.
On Sunday, the centers will be located at Dodger Stadium, SoFi Stadium in Inglewood and again at Los Angeles Cultural Arts Plaza.
