When you hear the name Rocky, you can’t help but think of the tough boxer who beat all odds to become a champion.
Now, the man behind this famous character is passing on his poignant words of wisdom to a young boy with the same name.
Sylvester Stallone wrote a sweet letter to Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian Barker’s 1-year-old son, Rocky Thirteen Barker.

The Blink-182 drummer posted a handwritten letter on his Instagram Stories.
“Dear Rocky, my name is Rocky too. Your name is so special and equated with something great,” Stallone wrote.
“You will face many challenges in life and you will need to show dedication and determination,” he continued.
The action star wrote that Rocky should “never give up” on his dreams and “always value family, friendship, and loyalty above fame and fortune.”

He ended the note by saying, “Keep punching,” and lovingly signed Sly “Rocky” Stallone.
The actor is famous for starring as Rocky Balboa in the series and also writing the script for the original film. He also appeared in the spin-off film Creed as Balboa.
Little Rocky celebrated his 1st birthday on November 1st.

The kid has already proven he’s a fighter.
A few weeks before he was born, his mother was rushed to the hospital for fetal surgery.
After the procedure, the Poosh founder posted a photo on Instagram of her holding hands with Barker with an IV in her arm.
“I will be forever grateful to the amazing doctors who saved my baby’s life,” she wrote. “I’m forever grateful to my husband who rushed from tour to accompany me to the hospital and took care of me afterwards. He’s the most important person to me. And thank you, mom, for holding my hand through this situation.”
