A female shooting suspect who appeared to be armed and had a dog in her car was captured Thursday in Southern California after a more than hour-long manhunt by authorities.
Details are limited, but the suspect is reportedly wanted in connection with an early afternoon shooting at Echo Park and Bellevue streets in Los Angeles.

The woman faked a traffic stop at least four times and surrounded the vehicle with a gun drawn before police took off.
In one of the incidents, the suspect stopped, then made a U-turn and risked his way through the officer’s vehicle.
