Two people were seriously injured in a massive four-car crash Friday night, and authorities are searching for the driver of the luxury car involved.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the crash was reported in the area of Sherman Way and Sherman Circle in Panorama City around 9:50 p.m.
Police said two luxury cars, a Mercedes GT63 and a Rolls-Royce Cullinan, were speeding westbound on Sherman Way when the driver of the Mercedes clipped a Honda Civic that was turning left into Sherman. Circle.
Two occupants of the Honda sustained “serious injuries” in the crash and were taken to a local hospital where they remain in critical condition. They have not been publicly identified.
After the initial collision, the driver of the Rolls-Royce swerved to the left to avoid the Honda. In the process, the Rolls-Royce ended up on the wrong side of the road and collided with a Chevrolet Traverse.

The collision caused the Rolls-Royce to hit a curb. The driver then got out of the vehicle and fled the scene.
The driver has not been found for some time after the incident. Police have not released an explanation. Authorities are searching for the driver on suspicion of reckless driving and hit-and-run.
The driver of the Mercedes was taken to a local hospital for treatment and was arrested on suspicion of reckless driving.
