“Avengers” star Jeremy Renner will be the grand marshal of the 92nd Hollywood Christmas Parade.
The announcement comes nearly two years after Renner suffered life-threatening injuries in a snowplow accident. He has since made a full recovery.

The actor expressed his gratitude for the honor on Instagram on Thursday.
“I am honored to serve as the grand marshal of this year’s Hollywood Christmas Parade and excited to partner with Toys for Tots to bring joy to children in need,” he said. Explained. “Their mission is closely aligned with the work we do at Renervation Foundation to create meaningful experiences for at-risk youth. This season of giving is about spreading hope. And I’m excited to share this moment with my family and friends at the Foundation as we work together to make a difference.”

This year’s parade will be hosted by actor Dean Cain, emcees Laura McKenzie, Montel Williams and Elizabeth Stanton.
The parade, which takes place through the streets of Hollywood in conjunction with the City of Los Angeles, will be held on December 1 at 6 p.m. Grandstand bleachers open at 4 p.m. and pre-parade entertainment begins at 5:30 p.m.
The parade will be broadcast on KTLA 5 on December 14th at 8pm.
