Americans are so certain they have spotted a UFO that they have reported sightings to the Department of Defense more than 700 times over a 12-month period, according to a new report.
According to the Department of Defense’s annual report, between May 1, 2023 and June 1, 2024, the All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office reported 757 cases related to unidentified aerial phenomena formerly known as UFOs. I received the report.
Of those 757 cases, only 485 occurred during that period. The remaining 272 sightings occurred between 2021 and 2022, but were only reported later.

The report said 118 of the more than 700 cases were resolved during the reporting period. Often they were thought to be birds, balloons or other aircraft. Many unsolved cases can be attributed to a lack of photographic evidence.
No reporter suffered any adverse health effects from the UFOs discovered.

About 65% of reporters said they saw strange lights in the sky. Other reporters said they saw objects such as spheres, cylinders, and triangles.
Other journalists said the objects did not fit into the aforementioned categories, saying they had seen something like a “green fireball” and “something that looked like a jellyfish.” [multicolored] “Flashing lights” and “a silver locket about six feet long.”
So far, none of the reports have shown “evidence of extraterrestrial life,” the report said.
