Authorities are searching for a pair of thieves who broke into a Santa Clarita jewelry store Monday night and stole thousands of dollars worth of merchandise.
According to Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Sgt. Wilkerson and his colleagues at the Santa Clarita Police Department responded to a report of a robbery in the 26100 block of Bouquet Canyon Road at 8:49 p.m.
Upon arriving at the Santa Clarita Plaza Shopping Center, responding officers found the front windows of the Gold Buyer Depot had been broken.

The two robbers ransacked the store and stole $4,700 worth of jewelry, according to LASD.

Both suspects fled the scene and the case remained unsolved as of Tuesday morning. No detailed explanation has been obtained at this time, and the investigation into the incident is still in its preliminary stages.
