Ralph Macchio, the actor and director best known for his role as Daniel LaRusso in the original film The Best Kid and the hit Netflix series Cobra Kai, will make Hollywood history as a star on the Walk of Fame. It turns out.

Macchio had starred in, produced, and directed consistently since his last Best Kid movie, 1989’s The Best Kid Part III, but the huge success of Cobra Kai reignited Macchio’s career. It also rebooted the careers of Zabka and co-star Martin Kove. , among others.
Fittingly, Macchio’s star will sit next to that of the late Pat Morita, the teacher from the “Best Kid” series.
