The family of Maui resident Hannah Kobayashi, who went missing in Los Angeles earlier this month, held a rally and handed out flyers near where she was last seen downtown.
According to KTLA’s Carlos Saucedo, Kobayashi’s family, who were traveling from Maui to New York, reported that Kobayashi missed the 11 p.m. flight from LAX to John F. Kennedy International Airport on Nov. 8. He said he was worried about what happened.
Surveillance photos obtained by the family show the 31-year-old man landing at LAX, but what happened next is still unclear.
After the family traveled to Los Angeles to try to follow in her footsteps, they learned that Kobayashi attended a LeBron James event at The Grove on November 10th.
A ping was returned to her phone the next day at Los Angeles International Airport, but her last known location was at the Pico subway station near the Crypto.com Arena around 10 p.m. on Nov. 11, where she was shot. She was seen with an unknown person.

“Please, please don’t stop saying her name, Hannah Kobayashi,” her aunt, Larry Pidgeon, begged Thursday afternoon. “Your whole family is here. The whole world is looking for you. If you are able and have access, please contact us. We are not angry.”
Her family doesn’t believe the 31-year-old is safe, and her aunt told KTLA last week that she started receiving alarming text messages shortly after she went missing.
“She said she was scared and that someone might be trying to steal her money and identity,” Pidgeon said. “Weird, cryptic messages, things about the Matrix, things that weren’t like her at all. And all of a sudden, we couldn’t get in touch.”

They are now worried that someone may have hurt her. Especially since her last known location is late at night and could be dangerous.
“She’s a beautiful girl inside and out. If you can, please reach out to her,” her father, Ryan Kobayashi, said at Thursday’s rally.
Kobayashi is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing about 140 pounds, with brown hair, brown eyes, and fair skin with freckles.
A GoFundMe has been organized to support the family, who traveled to Los Angeles to assist in the search.
Los Angeles Police Department officials confirmed they are investigating, but Kobayashi is not yet listed as a “critical” missing person.
