A 31-year-old Desert Hot Springs man accused of having sex with a minor and producing child pornography was arrested this week in Palm Springs.
San Bernardino County deputies began investigating a report of sex with a minor that occurred in Yucca Valley on Oct. 20, according to the sheriff’s department.
Multiple warrants were issued for Dakota Lessnow after investigators determined she was responsible for several crimes against minor victims.
On Nov. 20, deputies executed a search warrant at Lessnau’s home in the 12800 block of Amapola Avenue in Desert Hot Springs, the sheriff’s office said.
Lessnow was not at the home, but officers said they found a rifle with an extended magazine, a suppressor, drugs and evidence that could be related to a sex crime.
Palm Springs detectives later identified and arrested Lessnow on suspicion of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor, oral copulation with a minor, production of child pornography, sending obscene material to a minor, and robbery.
