One person was killed in a fire at a Hollywood Hills home, the Los Angeles County Fire Department announced Wednesday.
Firefighters received a call about a two-story house on fire on a hillside around 4:43 p.m. Flames were contained to the first floor of the home at 8551 W. Lookout Mountain Avenue.
According to LAFD, an elderly adult male was found dead inside the burning home.
Neighbors said the man who died was William Rothschild, 86, who was known for his love of vintage cars.
