Disney has ‘enough room to build another Disneyland’ in Anaheim, park chairman says
The announcement comes after the Anaheim City Council approved the resort’s $1.9 billion expansion plan, known as the Disneyland Forward proposal, in May.
The Disneyland Forward proposal is a 40-year agreement that dictates where and how future development will occur. This will allow Disney to build new attractions, shops, and restaurants within resort areas it already owns and operates.
Potlock called Disneyland Forward the resort’s “legacy project” and reaffirmed Disney’s commitment to spending at least $1.9 billion on the resort over the next 10 years.
A timeline of which lands could be “amplified” and when they would not be released was not released.
