He is fighting a burning brush fire near the hill above Burbank Tuesday afternoon.
The fire was reported around 3:45pm near Amherst Drive and Bethany Road, according to the Burbank Police Department.
By 4:30pm, the flame, named “Bethany Fire,” was growing on about 8-10 acres.

The evacuation order is as follows:
Above Bel Air Drive, above Walnut Avenue Bel Air Ball Field (Dr. Bel Air, Vista Ridge, Starlight Circle)
Evacuation warnings are in place:
Irving Drive to Magnolia Boulevard above the 1000 block of Kenneth Road in Bethany Road
All hiking trails above Burbank, including the Wildwood Canyon and the Storf Nature Centre area, are closed.
“If you are in or near these recreational areas in the hiking trail or Burbank Hills, leave the area immediately,” the police department said. “Officers are in the area to help.”
Evacuation sites are available at the McCambridge Recreation Center at 1515 North Glenoaks Blvd.
It is unknown how the fire began.
Burbank Fire Department and Police Station crews, along with Los Angeles Fire Department crews, responded to the scene.
