Disneyland is preparing to close one of its most popular rides next month for renovations as the park celebrates its 70th anniversary season.
The resort has not made an official announcement, but the ride quality of the iconic ghost mansion from August 11th is “temporarily unavailable,” according to the Disneyland website’s daily event calendar.
The website remains closed for the rest of its available dates, but is expected to resume on August 22nd after undergoing a seasonal transformation inspired by Tim Burton’s “pre-Christmas nightmare.”

The holiday version of Haunted Mansion features film characters and props, usually intact for January of the following year.
According to the Daily Mail, the expected makeover this year coincides with the timelines of the past few years.
“In 2024, the holiday version of the attraction opened earlier than usual in July,” the newspaper reported.
