A hateful message was plastered Monday morning at the German consulate in downtown Los Angeles.
Video from a scene shot by KTLA photojournalist Jose Hernandez Jr. shows that “Germany Starves Baby Gaza” is written on two pillars in front of the consulate in the 6200 block of Wilshire Boulevard.
Los Angeles police confirmed with KTLA that the unit responded to the area with a call for vandalism around 7am. However, the suspect or suspect had fled the scene by the time the officers arrived.

I’ve seen multiple people trying to scrub messages from the wall and power wassh them. They eventually covered the message with paper.

Personal and building security who cleans hate-filled messages have refused to talk to KTLA about the incident.
