Police are investigating a double hit and run filmed overnight on video on the 110 highway in South Los Angeles.
Officers responded to a crash on the northbound side of the 110 Expressway around 2:30am Sunday, the California Highway Patrol said. Police were called to the highway just south of Gage Street, where two separate collisions took place near the same area.
Filming video of the incident showed a dark-colored vehicle in the third lane on the side of the highway sleeps the car to the right and forces it towards the wall. The dark-colored vehicle bouncing off, attacking the vehicle to the left.
According to CHP, it is unknown why the first vehicle hits another vehicle. The second separate crash was not seen in the footage.
In both cases, hit and run occurred. No arrests have been made. According to the CHP, no injuries have been reported in connection with either crash.
A detailed description of the vehicle that caused the hit and run was not immediately available.
CHP’s Central Los Angeles office is taking the lead in the investigation.
