A key moment from the final debate at Sean “Diddy” Combs’ sex trafficking trial

NEW YORK (AP) — After hearing a very different view from the prosecutor and his defense attorney on whether he has been engaged in sex trafficking for 20 years, the judge begins to review the fate of Sean “Diddy” Comb.

Two prosecutors alleged that he was forced, threatened, and sometimes viciously forced to have sex with a male sex worker to satisfy his sexual impulses. They cited multiple acts of violence he committed against them as evidence that they were not speaking out.

The defense then laughed at the government’s closing arguments, warning that prosecutors were adopting a novel approach to sexual crimes.

Combs (55), founder of Bad Boy Entertainment, pleaded not guilty to assaulting charges of sex trafficking and conspiracy at trial.

Here are some key moments that concluded the discussions on Thursday and Friday:

Prosecutors indicated they had not withdrawn the claim against the comb.

Prosecutors last week caused them to retreat or eliminate arson allegations and eliminate the lure to combs.

“The government does not plan to advance these theories of responsibility, so instructions are no longer necessary,” the prosecutor wrote in a letter to the judge.

However, when US lawyer Christy Slavik began closure on Thursday, she filed an arson allegation, luring the lead role in the first sentence, and named her before others.

“Over the past few weeks, you’ve learned a lot about Sean Combs. He’s a leader in a criminal enterprise. He’s not looking for answers. And now you know about the many crimes the defendant has committed to with members of his company. The invitation of one of the defendant’s employees. Of course, the brutal crime at the heart of this case – sex trafficking,” she said.

The arson claim comes from evidence that Slavik showed that he was behind the 2012 rapper Kid Kudi Porsche fire bomb. Slavick says that Combs invites one of his employees to join him when he breaks into Kudi’s house after finding out that the rapper is dating his girlfriend.

Defence lawyers fight back, denounce government cases

Attorney Mark Agnifilo over the lawsuit against Combs in a folklore presentation at the theatres said hundreds of agents poured into Combs residences in Miami and Los Angeles, seizing hundreds of baby oil and astroglid lubricants.

“They found Astrogride, so I think it’s all worth it. They found it in the box. “The American city is safe from Astrogride!”

From the start, Agnifilo portrayed prosecutors as unfairly targeting combs after nearly 11 years’ ex-girlfriend Cassandra “Cathy” Ventura sued him in November 2023. She testified for four days in the first week of the trial.

The lawsuit was settled for $20 million the following day, but she touched on the crime investigation with her claim that she was exposed to hundreds of drug-fueled “freak-offs” that claimed she was forced to play sexually for days with a male sex worker while the comb was filmed, filmed and overseeing the behavior.

The woman who testified under the pseudonym “Jane” testified during her trial that she had experienced a “hotel night,” similar to “freak-off” in relation to Combs from 2021 until her arrest.

Agnifilo argued that the prosecution was an unfair attack on a well-known and highly successful black entrepreneur.

“They took astroglide and took baby oil. That’s evidence in this case because his business is outstanding. There’s nothing about the business. There’s nothing about the business that makes criminal cases,” he said.

Defense personalizes the case of ju-secrets and calls it an attack on “your bedroom”

Agnifilo attempted to file a lawsuit for the ju judge as an assault on everyone’s bedroom and the secrets of his own sex life.

“They enter the man’s bedroom. They go to the man’s most private life. Where is the crime scene? The crime scene is your private sex life. That’s the crime scene,” he stood in front of the ju judge.

The lawyer said that Combs doesn’t like filming sexual events with his girlfriend, calling it “the typical, homemade porn you know,” and that “in stretching imagination, I don’t think this is the only guy making homemade porn.”

Still, the investigator said, “Take a figuratively yellow crime scene tape and they wrap it in his bedroom. Crime scene – your bedroom, your hotel room, you go with your girlfriend. Crime scene. Lots of yellow tape.”

He then nodded to the 50th anniversary of the film “Jaws,” reviving the classic line from Hollywood history, saying, “That’s not enough, so we need a bigger crime scene tape.”

The judge agrees that the defense has gone too far, saying that the prosecutor will target combs.

Shortly after Agnifilo told the ju judge “it takes a lot of courage to be acquitted,” he ultimately torested the government’s case on harsh conditions.

“I think the evidence can be that you can conclude that the government targeted Sean Combs,” he said. No one complained to incite the government to incite an investigation, but investigators instead began working the day after Kathy filed the lawsuit.

After the ju-degrees left the room at the end of Agnifilo’s four-hour total, his targeted statement drew protests from prosecutor Slavik.

When the ju judge returned, Judge Arun Subramanian noted that he had made comments about Agnifilo’s targeting the comb, telling the ju judge that “the government’s decision to investigate an individual or an individual to indict an individual is not your concern.”

In the counterargument, the prosecutor tells the ju judge, “God is not God.”

US lawyer Aide Molen Comey got his final words in his presentation of his rebuttal to the ju judge, saying, “The defendant is not God.”

She said the comb in his heart was “uncontrollable.” She even stated that one former personal assistant described him as “the God among men.”

“For 20 years, the defendant fled for his crimes, and that ends in this courtroom,” she said. “He is a man. And in this court he stands equally before the law. The overwhelming evidence proves his guilt. It is time to hold him accountable. He commits a crime.”
