The suspect was arrested after police discovered a large collection of stolen tools and construction materials in Riverside on Tuesday.
The suspect was identified as 52-year-old Joaquin Zimenez, according to the Riverside Police Department.
At about 7:15am, officers underwent traffic stops at Van in Jimenez near Julpa Avenue and Van Buren Boulevard.
Inside the van, police found a large collection of stolen property taken from the construction site earlier that morning.
Officials also discovered suspected methamphetamine, drug pipes, homemade zip guns and other items believed to have been stolen.
