Authorities have announced the arrest of a man who said he fatally stabbed another man during a debate at Griffith Park over the weekend.
The Los Angeles Police Department announced a media release Tuesday morning, stating that a northeastern patrol officer had been dispatched to the 3200 block of Riverside Drive around 2:30am on Saturday.
Upon arriving in the area adjacent to 101 Freeway Glendale Boulevard Off-Ramp, officers found a man suffering from a stab wound. Despite life-or-life efforts from the response of paramedics, the man succumbed to his injuries and died at the scene.
LAPD later identified him as 48-year-old Richard Ware.
An investigation into the stab wound revealed that when the wear became physical, the wear was involved in a conflict with another man, Lois Rainey.

“Central Bureau murder detectives… We discovered that Rainey and Ware were involved in a conflict that escalated into a physical altercation.
Rainey, 36, was eventually arrested after officers gathered witness statements and searched the area before finding him near Griffith Park.
He was charged with one count of murder. With each LAPD, he is detained without bail.
