A North Carolina woman whose family has not heard since November was found alive in Colorado last week, officials said.
Kelsey Pittman, 33, was reported missing by his family when the 2009 Chevrolet HHR with a 2009 North Carolina plate was found parked outside Death Valley National Park earlier this year, according to a news release from the Inho County Sheriff’s Office.
According to the Los Angeles Times, her last known location was somewhere in Utah when she contacted local police last November for unknown reasons.
On February 9th, the agent responded to an area known as Slab City or Pad. Sonoran Desert communities of people who are off the grid in pads, RVs or tents, many have identified as bohemians and artists and received reports of suspicious rides.

However, searches of the vehicle and the area showed no signs of the 33-year-old. The signs of 33 are also named “Infinity Jane” and “Jane Jones.”

The Sheriff’s Office coordinated with several other law enforcement agencies, deploying drones, corpse dogs and search and rescue teams, and launched a months-long investigation of missing persons.
The area where Pittman’s vehicle was discovered is notorious for its extremely high temperatures that lead to disorientation and can lead to hikers and others wandering through extreme heat and dying.
Further search and rescue efforts at Death Valley and Joshua Trees have also been empty.
Although details are limited, Inyo County Sheriff’s officials announced last week that the 33-year-old had been found alive in Colorado.
“With respect for her privacy and the privacy of her family, no further details will be made public,” the department said, but the announcement said the authorities were “secure” and thankful to those involved in the rescue operations.
