A rushed locked man from Stormwash in San Bernardino County had to be rescued, authorities said.
In a news release posted on social media on Wednesday, officials from the San Bernardino Police Station said officers along with San Bernardino firefighters received emergency reports of a man trapped in the rapidly rising waters of the washes brought by the heavy rains in the last day and half.
In rescue footage released by the department, crews were seen in industrial wire cutters and saws, allowing them to cut barbed wire on top of chain link fences around the laundry.

It is unclear whether a man in need of rescue was homeless and had fallen during the cleaning to protect himself from the weather, or if it was accompanied by certain circumstances, but footage showed him covering an extended ladder on the side of the cleansing concrete wall, making the victim appear as a small rain.

The unidentified man was successfully pulled away from the dangerous water and was handled on the scene. It is unknown if he was taken to the hospital.
“This is your warning to practice caution and find highlands during bad weather,” authorities said at their release. “This cleaning is important to be safe and vigilant as flood levels tend to rise rapidly.
KTLA contacted SBPD to find the exact time and place where rescues occurred and awaited a response.
