A Southern California high school choir director was greeted by police officers after agreeing to meet with a 17-year-old student on suspicion of sexual activity.
According to the Santa Ana Police Department, officers responded to Santa Ana High School around 6 p.m. Friday after receiving a report of a student having an inappropriate relationship with a teacher.
When contacted, the boy, a senior at the school, reported that he had been having a sexual relationship with Yesenia Navarro Garcia, 37, the director of the vocal music program and choir teacher at Santa Ana High School, over a period of about six years. A few months.

Police said Garcia, an Orange resident, had been employed as a full-time choir teacher for about five years.
She was booked into the Santa Ana Jail on multiple sexual assault-related charges, with bail set at $100,000.
