UCLA police have arrested the suspect on robbery and weapons charges, the department announced Sunday morning.
The suspect was taken into custody at Haines Hall on UCLA’s campus after police found stolen posters honoring African-American figures, stun guns, campus keys and other items.

The UCLA PD has arrested one suspect at Haynes Hall for robbery, possession of weapons, stolen property and fortifying hate crimes.

The suspect faces robbery and the weapons charge the possibility of an enhanced hate crime.
According to the police station, it was not immediately clear whether the suspect was affiliated with the school.
Police also said the arrests were linked to “a similar incident under investigation since February 2025.”
Haynes Hall is the auditorium of UCLA. The building in Quad is home to the Ralph J. Bunch Center for the African American Studies Library and Media Center. The UCLA Sociology Department is also located in the building.
