Seven men were arrested Sunday night after police investigators and several local agencies suspended attempted robbery at Raverne weeks after the same crew allegedly attacked the Glendale business.
The arrest followed a May 27 robbery at Biddlesia’s gem on Glendale Avenue, cutting holes from the roof and stole an unknown amount of gem.
A robbery detective from the Glendale Police Station began an investigation and with the help of a partner agency began pursuing the suspect.

On June 29th, officers moved when the suspect tried to cut the roof and break into a rodeo jeweler on Foothill Boulevard. Authorities said the group also used to cut signal jummers and wires during an attempt to break in.
Seven of the eight suspects on the scene were taken into custody with the help of the Laverne, Claremont and Glendora Police Department and with the help of Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office deputies.

Those arrested were identified as Vera Mattias, Javier Sepulveda, Luka Pasitiani, Edson Gonzalez, Jose Mirafil, Victor Ituriga Lopez and Christian Gonzalez Abrutto.
All are foreigners and are believed to be related to similar crimes in the US and abroad, police said.
The man maintains custody of the Glendale Police Department. Investigators continue their work and ask anyone with information to call the department’s robbery unit at 818-548-3127.
