Investigators at the Pasadena Police Station have released two suspicious sketches in connection with the unsolved 2021 murder of 13-year-old Iran Moreno, who was shot dead while playing video games in his bedroom.
Preliminary investigations and security footage from the evening of November 21, 2021 showed that the grey Ford fusion had stopped in the parking lot across from the boy’s house in the 900 block of Raymond Avenue.
The passenger seat reportedly left and fired two gunshots east. The suspect, estimated to be between 33 and 37 years old, stood 6 to 6 feet, 1 inch tall, weighing between 185 and 195 pounds before returning to the car and leaving with the driver.
One of the bullets passed through the walls of an Iranian bedroom and fatally hit him.
The family told KTLA that he had collapsed in the living room, and his father held him in his arms while waiting for the ambulance. Iran was taken to a local hospital where he was declared dead.
The Pasadena Police Department continued to investigate the murder in the following days and weeks, offering rewards of up to $85,000 for information leading to arrests and convictions, with little success.

However, investigators said they received hints that, last week, that the department had led to the identity of vehicles believed to be used in crime, allowing them to track movements before and after the murder, due to an update of the case issued in regards to partial license plates relating to gunman clothing and Ford fusion.
A recently discovered witness was also able to help investigators create a composite sketch of suspects in the Ford fusion, officers said in their new release.
