One person was killed in a violent crash crash in the San Fernando Valley, including a box truck and vehicle that appear to be driving at high speeds, surveillance video shows.
The fatal multi-timber collision occurred just before 7pm on March 18th in the 8700 block of Rankershim Boulevard, near the 5th highway in Sun Valley.
Surveillance footage from nearby businesses filmed a silver two-door coupe moving north along Rankershim Boulevard as the driver suddenly lost control and appeared to swing into the southbound lanes that crashed into it.
The collision creates a cloud of smoke, and debris will fly when the coupe rotates in the opposite direction. At least one of the driver’s tires fell from the vehicle, reaching a pickup truck parked on the curb.
