A woman was arrested Friday after she was caught on video angrily setting a car on fire at a Hollywood gas station.
The video shows a woman approaching a Toyota Corolla parked at a Mobil gas station in the 6300 block of Santa Monica Boulevard around 4 a.m.
The woman, who was dragging a large suitcase, set an object on fire and threw it near the vehicle. Before leaving, she poured a flammable liquid on it, further increasing the growing flames.

However, a bystander with a fire extinguisher quickly rushed over and extinguished the fire. The woman noticed this and tried to set the car on fire again when fire engines arrived on the scene.
She ignites the unknown object and throws it to the ground, again spraying flammable liquid. Then she yelled, “Get out of the car!” However, no one appears to be in the targeted vehicle.
Bystanders ran over and put out the fire again, occasionally directing spray chemicals at the woman as she continued to spray the flammable liquid.
Police arrived and arrested the woman. While being handcuffed, she began to resist and an officer grabbed her legs and forced her to the ground.
It is unclear what triggered the devastating ordeal. Her identity has not been released as the incident is under investigation.
