Presidential candidate Donald Trump took the stage exactly a year ago at a regular campaign rally held in Butler, Pennsylvania on July 13, 2024.
However, the rally was different from the rest of his political career.
As Trump was on the podium, supporters had signs saying, “Joe Biden, you’ve been fired!” Right behind him, the president pointed to a chart detailing the low number of illegal immigrants at the end of his first term and how they rose under the Biden administration.
“That chart was a few months ago. If you really want to see what’s sad, look at what happened,” Trump said.

After a while, Trump dived, and the Secret Service agents rushed to his side. More gunshots continued, and Trump remained covered, and participants cried in horror as they waited for all the clear signs.
Once green light was given, Secret Service officials stood up with Trump and escorted him from the stage. But Trump didn’t hide himself from his supporters. Instead, he emerged from the pack, raised his fist high with his AI, said “fight” three times, urging the audience to erupt “USA!” and chant. When he leaves.
Eventually, 20-year-old gunman Thomas Matthew Crooks grazes Trump’s ears and fires eight rounds of cards from the rooftop during the rally. The gunman also killed Corey Comperatore, whose 50-year-old firefighter, father and husband, attended the rally, and injured two others.
A Secret Service sniper kills a con man while shooting, and an FBI investigation is underway. The motive for why the fraudsters attacked has not been determined.
A classmate of the con artist described the con artist as “soloble” after being bullied, and the FBI told reporters in August 2024 that the con artist is likely to suffer from an undiagnosed disorder.

“It was unforgettable,” Trump said in an exclusive interview clip aired Thursday on “My Views with Lala Trump.” “I didn’t know exactly what was going on. I banged.
“People were screaming, and fortunately I came down quickly because I think they fired eight bullets.”
Trump Chief Susie Wills, who co-chaired Trump’s campaign, said he believed Trump had been killed.
“I think you’re the worst,” Wills said in an interview that he dropped alongside Miranda Devine on “Pod Force One.” “You can’t–it’s human– you’re not. And when he stood up, I thought, ‘Oh, well’. ”
Wills said Trump had just moved his head slightly during the ambush because of the immigration charts.

“So, to ask him about that chart in eight minutes and get him to come on the other side, he looked in a different direction and lifted his head a bit because it was high.
“But it was a scary time and it changed everything for us, security has become a part of its former and centrality.
The attack has led to an overhaul of the Secret Service to prevent another attack like Pennsylvania over the past year. The Department of Homeland Security issued a report in October 2024. This determined that if the Secret Service did not enact reforms, another episode like Pennsylvania would be possible.
“The Secret Service will not function at the elite level necessary to carry out a critical mission,” the report states. “Despite the increased risk and advances in technology, Secret Services has become bureaucratic, satisfying and static.”
Since then, the Secret Service has guided several important reforms to enhance security measures and has stopped six agents to respond.

Trump spoke about his life’s attempts at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, wearing bandages in his ears and telling the audience that he “is not supposed to be here tonight.” In response, the crowd began to chant “Yes, you are!”
“A lot of people say it was a providential moment. It was probably,” Trump said at the conference. “When I stood up surrounded by Secret Service, the crowd was confused because they thought I was dead. And there was a great deal of sadness. I could see it on their faces.
“When I looked outside, they didn’t know I was looking outside. They thought it was over. But I could see it. I wanted to do something to let them know I was okay. I raised my right arm and waited in breath, “I saw thousands of people who fought, fought, started fighting.”
