The organization on the far left may be using artificial intelligence and other technologies to reveal the identity of immigrants and customs enforcement agents, Ice Director Todd Lions told Fox News Digital in an interview.
Lyons’ remarks come when Congressional Democrats recently proposed visible laws.
“If the law passes to try to mask ice agents, if they are not allowed to wear them, it uses reverse technology to carry out the risk of these fringe organizations. You know that AI will try to get a family address and get a home address.” “I’ve heard that elected officials say they shouldn’t take a break for ice agents or their families.”
“So they definitely worry about it. They also worry about their own happiness when they go out to make these arrests happen, because we have to send more officers to the community because we can send four or five to make an arrest in the past.

He added that safety risks require more resources when making an arrest. When Ice was running an operation in Los Angeles in June, President Donald Trump sent the California State Guard to the city with the goal of protecting agents and quelling the riots. The move was legally challenged by California Gov. Gavin Newsom.
“The Marines are withdrawing. This is another victory for Los Angeles,” Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass posted on X on Monday.
According to DHS, ICE agents have faced an increase in attacks of 830% since last year. But proponents of visible behavior say it is nesscary for accountability.
“For weeks, Americans have seen undistinguished federal agents detain people from the streets and instill fear in communities across the country,” Sen. Cory Booker, D-New Jersey, said on July 8th.
“Reporting individuals impersonating ice officers only increased the risks to public and officer safety. The lack of visible identification and uniform standards for immigrant executive officers has created confusion, fear and undermining public confidence in law enforcement.”

“The attack can be anything from resisting arrests that assault officers, whether they’re kicking or not. It’s as dramatic as what we saw in Alvarado, Texas, with local police ambushing them with firearms,” Lions said.
“We saw it during a recent Marijuana Glow Farm Raid Operation, where we fired a handgun at an ice officer and a rock with rock thrown in. It’s everything from verbal assault to physical assault, to threats of physical harm to deadly force.
Authorities have charged 12 people with alleged anti-ice attacks at the Prairiland Detention Center on Independence Day. This includes 10 people attempted murders of federal officials and attempted murders of gun crimes. Reports show that several plans have occurred through signal group chats, and Lyons noted that this is likely to have been planned for some time by activists in the Dallas area.

“Well, the FBI does an amazing job investigating it as an organized event as a whole,” the Lions said. “So you actually saw a place organized on social media, where you organized people in a typical L-shaped ambush where you have escape vehicles. So, it’s definitely something the Justice Department and the FBI have been planning for a while, and it wasn’t just a fierce protest.
In terms of facing these coordinated efforts, the director said it was a matter of planning and looking at the information available before carrying out the operation.

“What we’re doing is to coordinate all our federal partners and all the intelligence we have at our disposal, and we’re definitely working with our state partners who coordinate with us so that we can inform our officers and agents on the ground before we go out,” Lyons said.

“So we want to make sure our executives are fully aware of what they’re into, but we also make sure they’re staffing properly while they’re out.”
He further said the recent funding from the “big, beautiful bill” is to try and get back those “early retired” under the Biden administration and to see veterans and officials at local and state level staff “already have the training” to “beef up” agency staffing.
