A glass door was smashed when the robber broke into actor Jennifer Freeman’s Hollywood home, according to Los Angeles police.

The break-in was reported just before officers answered a call about possible robbery before 9pm on Thursday, LAPD told the NBC4 investigation. Police found the rear glass door shattered.

No one was in the house at the time of the break-in, police said.

Officers searched the home, but the intruder had already left and had photographed gems and other items, LAPD said.

Freeman is best known for his roles in “You Got Serve,” “Johnson Family Vacation,” “The Black Hamptons,” and “My My Wife and Kids,” and later arrived at the home to speak with the officers.

No arrests were reported early Friday.

The robbery follows a series of famous home invasions and other crimes in a Los Angeles-area home.

Hollywood Area Patrol Colonel Robert Peters said the area where additional patrols were hit hardest by the robbers will be added. Officers are looking for people to carry out speeders, stop signs and other traffic violations, police said.
