The Los Angeles Police Department is searching for a group of suspected robbers after a man finds hidden cameras in a West Hills neighborhood.
A man who spoke to Traffic News Los Angeles on Thursday said he saw a white Kia sedan parked in his neighborhood around 2am the day before, in the 1700 block of Bernazine Avenue and people “funny with some bushes.”
He didn’t think about it at the time, he said.
“The car was pulled up, and the two of them ran out and they were in this bush across from my house and stuffed something,” he said. “I didn’t know if it was a neighbor or not, so I didn’t do anything about it.”

At about 11am on Thursday, he saw the exact same vehicle pulled into the neighborhood. This time, at least five people wearing masks broke and entered the neighbor’s house.
With a bag full of items stolen from the house, they returned to the car, but not after they returned to retrieve the camera hidden in the bushes, the man said.
“I wanted to scream, but at the same time, I didn’t know if I should,” the man said. “[Wednesday night]if I was screaming, I could have prevented something. ”
Additional details, including information about the suspect, are now available immediately.
