The family is desperate for answers after his Southern California grandfather disappears and his bank account is empty.

Rancho Cucamonga’s 74-year-old 74-year-old was reported missing on May 4, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Office.

His son, Wen Hou, said the last time he saw his father was during a fishing trip, filmed in San Pedro in March.

“He felt very good,” Wen told KTLA’s Sandra Mitchell. “He caught a lot of fish. His friends were there too. He was very happy.”

A few weeks later, Wen began to worry when his father’s texting seemed out of character. He believes that someone else is using his phone now.

“[Always saying] He’s tired or will call me later – that’s just a strange reason. “Wen said.

When a friend visited the Rancho Cucamonga home in Naiping in May, they discovered that the residence was empty. The interior was renovated and repainted, with no signs of 74 years old.

Authorities decided to check Naiping’s bank account and confirmed on July 9th that “massive fraudulent transactions” took place around the time of his loss.

“He’s gone either,” Wen said. “We were able to track financial transactions. Over $1 million. [was withdrawn from] His account buying physical money online. ”

The family believes Niping has been invited. The suspect or suspect involved reportedly also tried to sell his car and rent a house.

As they are desperately searching for leads in the case, they are offering a $250,000 reward for information that leads to the identification of Naiping’s whereabouts or those involved in his loss disappearance.

Wen described his father as a loving husband and grandfather who enjoys spending time with his family and continues to work in the local community.

“My dad is like a guide to my life,” Wen said. “I really miss him. I hope we can find him.”

Niping is said to be Asians, 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing about 170 pounds. He has dark hair and dark eyes, and his upper left breast is maternal.

Investigators confirmed they followed several leads as the search continued. His family created a website where you can find more information.

The agent is also seeking information about the silver Toyota Yaris in connection with the man’s loss disappearance.

Anyone who knows or has information about Naiping’s whereabouts will be asked to call Detective Vannaise Quezada at 909-890-4848.
